Myself...

Hi everyone,

I am Jeeveswarry Ragaven. It is me, the look alike of a pretty pink candy cane in the profile picture. I am a 20 year old girl, who was born on the 17th day in the month of love in the year 1996. I was born and raised in Penang which is the well known state of Malaysia for food.

I am girl who loves to spend my time on improving my dancing and singing skills and I love to watch movies and cartoons especially. My favorite cartoon character is the yellow guy (Spongebob Squarepants) and so far I have performed approximately 10 dancing performances during family functions and special events.

Bachelor’s of Education in UNITAR is the course which I am engaged in. It was my childhood dream to become a tutor/ lecturer and the level of initiative increased when these beautiful ladies stepped into my life as my teachers such as teacher Vanidha, Prema, Nur Farhana, Nur Jamilah, and Kala. Their passion, determination and involvement level towards their profession are indescribable.

From them I have learned that, a teacher can shape a students for a great betterment without considering the students' family background and without expecting anything in return except for their success in life. A teacher doesn’t only teach, they also keep learning more and more to fulfill their student’s needs.

The goals that I would love to achieve are firstly, once I have graduated as a teacher, I will proceed with my Master’s degree (MA. TESOL) to enhance my knowledge more based on this field. Secondly, I would prefer to teach students with special needs. It is because I personally believe that more scaffolding is needed for students with special needs compared to other students.

I will emphasize on that because I have more experience based in it as I have a couple of family members who have disability in themselves.  Helping such students to develop themselves will bring more satisfaction in a teacher’s life.

As a future teacher, the philosophy that I would emphasize more will be progressive-ism. It is because as a teacher I need to be crystal clear with my objectives which will be, what I really want my students to learn and practice as a betterment for their living.

By injecting progressivism and other philosophy in my pedagogy skills I can observe my students and also my progress from time to time which will create a effective learning phenomena in the classroom.

I believe that you had a great time viewing and reading my post. I am really looking forward for your feedback, so please do comment below and frequently view my blog for more posts. Thank you and have a great week ahead.

    1. Hi teacher, first of all thank you so much upon your feedback and I would proudly say that I have learned how to be progressive, especially from you. It is because, you have taught me how to find a better solution, identify the lesson learned, and how to improve myself for a betterment when a problem strikes.
I would mainly focus on progressivism. It is because, human’s life will have a lot of complication, problems and others in daily life. We need to bring in new ideas to overcome undesirable situation and to move forward. Progressiveness is important in everyone’s life.

Thank you teacher, keep giving feedback on the up coming posts.
